The inspiration for this album stems from a very personal place. It draws from the harrowing experience of watching a loved one succumb to addiction, leading to the eventual collapse of what once was a beautiful and promising relationship. The lyrics and melodies are infused with real pain and sorrow, capturing the rawness of emotions felt during this tumultuous time. It is Lance’s version of Taylor Swift’s version of the 2021 Red Album.
